Now this took some planning. The trickiest part for me is that I want to keep this as an adventure and I want the flexibility of being able to go where and when I like. Whilst this idea is lovely, I also don't want to miss out on certain things and need a logical order to use as my starting point. There are also a few logistical points that I have thought of such as where to start. Those who know me well have probably seen me sunburnt in February in England - blonde hair, blue eyes and pale skin probably mean I am more suited to Scandinavia rather than the Mediterranean. However, this is a part of France I really want to see so have decided I would do this at the start of my trip before it gets too warm. I also hate crowds so am trying to avoid the busiest touristy areas in the busier summer months.
With all this in mind, this is roughly what I have come up with:

Some of the bits I am hoping to see en route are:
The Canal Du MIDI
Carcassone
Calanques
Cannes
Villefranche-sur-Mer
Monaco
Mention
The Verdon Gorges
The Chemin De Stevenson
Massif du Sandy
The Alps (very big I know)
Lorraine and Alsace
The Loire Valley
Le Conquet
Le Mont St Michel
I would also love recommendations so please do let me know if there is somewhere en route that I should visit!
Have a great time Mark, we're looking forward to following you on your adventure!
